Little Drops of Water --> Mighty Ocean

Calling all teachers, educators, and edupreneurs:
// Do you have a small but excellent initiative for STEM Education?  //

I'm actually sharing this on October 07, not on September 30, but you know the drill, I "need" a September post to maintain the technically unbroken streak of posting at least once monthly since the beginning of the blog so I'm wedging this post in September.

starting to write programs in 2020?

Engage Students.  Empower Teachers.  Inspire Creation.
"CodeCombat is a program for students to learn computer science while playing a real game. It has been played in 200 countries around the world and has helped 12M people learn Python and JavaScript."  (video advert recorded before the pandemic)

That is one way to do learn coding in a major programming language.

There are many more ways...
Put your best suggestions in the comments.

Schools really need to put a plan in place on how to tackle all of this, how to continue education, how to ease the return. It's not enough to spray disinfectant around the premises. We need to step up cleaning arrangements and put policies in place to protect both children and staff. Teachers have been playing a crucial role in ensuring that learning continues since the shutdown. They are once again being thrown on the frontline of a new challenge: making sure that the reopening of schools goes smoothly. What if some of them have preconditions that make them susceptible to becoming critically ill when exposed to the virus? And they most probably will be. For instance most can't afford the luxury of personal transportation and need to hop on a public bus to get to work and back. It has been a tough year for everyone: children, parents, school owners and teachers. To give our children that excellent education they deserve we all need to consider ourselves a team. We need each other to get this right because: Together Everyone Achieves More There appears to be more questions than answers with regards to the reopening of schools. What is your take on this? Please share. #primaryschoolsinnigeria #earlyyears #9teesrock #educatorsinnigeria #teachinginnigeria
